Our Services

Kat’s Speech Pathology offers assessment and intervention for children 0-18 years of age with speech, language and literacy difficulties.

Our services can be provided at our clinic in Mosman Park, at your child’s school or at your home. We are registered with all of the private health funds as well as Medicare. We are also able to work with NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. Our mobile catchment area includes all of the western suburbs as well as south of the river up to 35km from our clinic in Mosman Park.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality, evidence-based intervention services to all clients in order to ensure they reach their full potential.

Parent & Family Support

At Kat’s Speech Pathology we recognise the importance of working closely with parents and caregivers to support your child’s speech, language and literacy development at home. Once an initial assessment of your child’s skills has been completed, your therapist will work with you to identify areas to work on in therapy. Your therapist will then provide you with parent coaching and strategies to use at home to maximise the progress your child makes in the areas that matter most.

Our School Based Services

We offer a range of different school-based services including but not limited to those listed below. We can collaborate with schools to personalise services to their individual needs. We are passionate about working with schools and we believe that working with teachers utilising their knowledge while providing expertise within speech and language promotes best outcomes for students.

  • In school individual therapy supports

  • School screenings (a small number of students or whole class)

  • Professional learning events (in areas such as articulation, comprehension, phonics, semantics & vocabulary and many more)

  • Parent information sessions (including information on how to develop speech and language at home, what to expect in normal development and more)
